Role Overview
This is a full-time role based in Lancashire, with the potential to transition into a hybrid position. The Electrical Manager will be responsible for overseeing all electrical works across projects, managing a team of Electrical Engineers, and ensuring installations are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. The role involves close collaboration with project stakeholders, technical planning, and hands-on leadership to drive successful project outcomes. Projects are primarily across the North West, with occasional travel and overnight stays required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Electrical Engineers across multiple sites (including subcontractors)
- Oversee all aspects of electrical installations and commissioning
- Interpret mechanical and electrical drawings to plan intelligent system layouts
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide technical guidance
- Liaise with clients, project managers, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery
- Maintain accurate documentation and support the development of case studies
- Support training and development of team members, including NVQ progression
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience in electrical installation and team leadership
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical drawings
- Holds a valid CSCS card or willing to obtain one through our learning provider and consistently upholds health and safety procedures
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and organisational skills
- NVQ qualifications in Electrical Installation are desirable
- Full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK
